My name is Jon Burton, and I am a portrait/brand photographer & videographer based in Sioux City, Iowa and serving the Siouxland and Tri-State area. I have been shooting photography for 8 years and videography for the last 5. Over the years, I have made photos and videos for locally owned companies, small brands, non-profits and more.
Why do I love this art form?
I believe in the power of photography and video. We, as humans, strive for connection. Photography & videography help capture those emotions we hold near. The photos of our family members, the videos of experiences we live out, and the things that bring vivid memories of the past. This is all evident in the culture of social media and with our constant trends dipping into nostalgic themes in fashion, music and design. All of these bring joy to our lives.
